Aidan Hill Receives Endorsement from FLIP Berkeley City Council
I’m honored to share that I’ve been endorsed by FLIP Berkeley City Council.
FLIP recently sat down with me for a long-form interview about the future of Southside Berkeley, housing stability, public space, neighborhood accountability, and what kind of leadership this district needs moving forward.
Southside is changing fast.
Decisions about housing, development, public land, infrastructure, and neighborhood services are reshaping District 7 in real time. Too often, the people who actually live here are treated as an afterthought in those decisions.
This campaign is about changing that.
In the interview, we discuss:
protecting public space and community life in Southside
keeping Southside affordable and livable
housing preservation and anti-displacement policy
support for local businesses and long-term residents
practical neighborhood improvements like lighting, sidewalks, and maintenance
government transparency and accountability
grassroots organizing and building a campaign rooted in the people who live here
As someone who has lived, worked, organized, and served in this community for years, I’m running because District 7 deserves representation that is grounded, accountable, and willing to fight for the people most affected by these decisions.
Southside is not disposable. The people who live here should have a real voice in what comes next.
I’m grateful to FLIP Berkeley City Council for the endorsement and for the opportunity to discuss the campaign in depth.
